What will be missed about this world?
Now,
be very careful how to answer?
Here
is a clue:
Jesus
says: “Remember Lot’s wife” (Luke 17:32)?
What
then will be missed about this world?
The
answer is: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
Jesus
says: “No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for
the Kingdom of God” (Luke 9:62).
“But
he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved” (Matthew 24:13).
“Heaven
and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35).
In
time of old, Lot, his wife and two daughters were elected to be saved from the
destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. The angels of God told them, saying: “Escape
for thy life; [LOOK NOT BEHIND THEE], neither stay thou in all the plain;
escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed” (Genesis 19:17).
Lot’s
wife did not believe EVERY word of God as spoken by the angels of God :…” look
not behind thee,…”.. Lot’s wife was disobedient to the word of God; Lot’s wife
did not endure to the end and lost her Salvation!
Lot’s
wife loved life so much in Sodom and Gomorrah that she had to have one last
look, but it was not to be, because when she LOOKED BACK she turned into a
pillar of salt (Genesis 19:26).
DO
NOT LOOK BACK AT ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD!
FOLLOW
JESUS CHRIST to the END!
“Take
heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in
departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called
To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we
are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence
stedfast unto the end” (Hebrews 3:12-14).
“Now
we beseech you, brethren, by the [COMING OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, AND BY OUR
GATHERING TOGETHER UNTO HIM], whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the
obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, stand
fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or
our epistle. Now our Lord Jesus Christ
himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us
everlasting consolation and good hope through grace” (2 Thessalonians 2:1,
14-16).
“Watch
therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come” (Matthew 24:42).
“For
as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so
shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:27).
“Be
ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think
not” (Luke 12:40).
“Behold,
he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced
him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen”
(Revelation 1:7).
