D A Y OF C H R I S T – THE GATHERING.
On
the day (night) of the coming of JESUS will commence the separation of those
who are away from those who are not of Christ.
“NOW
we beseech you, brethren, by the [COMING OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST], and by our
[GATHERING TOGETHER UNTO HIM], That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be
troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the
[DAY OF CHRIST] is at hand” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-2).
Jesus
says: “In that [DAY], he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the
house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let
him likewise not return back.
Remember
Lot’s wife.
Whosoever
shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life
shall preserve it.
I
tell you, in that [NIGHT] there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be
taken, and the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together; the
one shall be taken, and the other left. Two men shall be in the field; the one
shall be taken, and the other left. And they answered and said unto him, Where,
Lord? And he said unto them, ‘Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles
be gathered together’” (Luke 17:31-37).
On
the day and night, only God knows (Matthew 24:36) when heaven opens up to
reveal a sign of Jesus (Matthew 24:30): “[THE SUN SHALL BE TURNED INTO
DARKNESS, AND THE MOON INTO BLOOD], before the great and the terrible day of
the LORD come” (Joel 2:31).
“And
it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall
be delivered: for in mount Zion and in [JERUSALEM SHALL BE DELIVERANCE], as the
LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call” (Joel 2:32).
The
Apostle Paul said: “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling that ye
may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without
offence till the [DAY OF CHRIST]” (Philippians 2:12, 1:10).
