S A L V A T I O N: FEW versus many.
Notwithstanding
the fact that there are over seven (7) billion people on this earth at this time,
we must look back at the old world when only eight people were SAVED, and at Sodom
and Gomorrah where only four (4) people were elected to be saved but only three
(3) were SAVED (Luke 17:27–29).
Why
is this important?
For
the simply fact that on the Last Day the habitation of life on this earth will
cease forever, and a percentage which no man knows will be SAVED and redeemed to Heaven.
In
the book of Revelation John said: “After this I beheld, and, lo, [A GREAT
MULTITUDE, WHICH NO MAN COULD NUMBER], of all nations, and kindreds, and
people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with
white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying,
Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb” (Revelation
7:9-10).
Therefore,
be wise to come to knowledge of the truth and REPENT!
“For
this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all
men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy
2:3-4).
“And
ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).
“For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not
his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him
might be saved” (John 3:16-17).
Jesus,
the only begotten Son of God says: “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord,
Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my
Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21).
“For [MANY ARE CALLED], but [FEW ARE CHOSEN]” (Matthew 22:14).
“For [MANY ARE CALLED], but [FEW ARE CHOSEN]” (Matthew 22:14).
“The
time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe
the gospel” (Mark 1:15).
“The
Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is
longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all
should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).
Jesus
warns, says: “Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3).
“The
[WICKED] shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God” (Psalm
9:17).
“And
these shall go away into [EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT]: but the [RIGHTEOUS INTO LIFE
ETERNAL]” (Matthew 25:41, 46).
