“God
is not a man, that he should lie; neither the Son of man, that he should
repent” (Numbers 23:19).
“And
the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men
everywhere to repent. Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will
judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he
hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead”
(Acts 17:30-31).
“That
if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine
heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved at the end of
time. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture saith, whosoever believeth
on him shall not be ashamed” (Romans 10:9–11).
“For
there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over
all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name
of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:12-13).
“For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not
his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him
might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that
believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of
the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18).
