L I G H T versus Darkness.
“This
then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that [GOD
IS LIGHT], and in him is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5).
“Every
good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father
of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” (James
1:17).
“For
God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world
through him might be saved” (John 3:17).
“And
this is the condemnation, that [LIGHT] is come into the world, and men [LOVED
DARKNESS RATHER THAN LIGHT, BECAUSE THEIR DEEDS WERE EVIL]. For every one that doeth evil hateth the
light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. [BUT HE
THAT DOETH TRUTH COMETH TO THE LIGHT], that his deeds may be made manifest,
that they are wrought in God” (John 3:19-21).
“[LIGHT]
is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart. Rejoice in
the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness”
(Psalm 97:11-12).
“The
LORD is my [LIGHT AND MY SALVATION]; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the
strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1).
“[LIGHT]
is sown for the righteous” (Psalm 97:11).
“Wherefore
God saith: ‘Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall
give thee [LIGHT]’” (Ephesians 5:14).
“Behold,
I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, For
this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on
immortality” (1 Corinthians 15:50-51).
“For
the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the
archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first,
then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the
clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and [SO SHALL WE EVER BE WITH THE LORD]”
(1 Thessalonians 4:16–17).
“And
cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping
and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 25:30).
