The word of God is past, present and prophecy.
From the beginning of time, “The LORD gave the word: great was the company of those that published it” (Psalm 68:11).

“It is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God” (Luke 4:4).

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8) says: “It is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God” (Luke 4:4).

“He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the Last Day” (John 12:48).

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63).

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35).
“Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven” (Psalm 119:89).

  GOD is a LIVING GOD: “[FOR HE IS NOT A GOD OF THE DEAD, BUT OF THE LIVING]: for all live unto him” (Luke 20:38). GOD GAVE HUMANS THE BREATH OF LIFE, BUT THEN CAME DEATH. At the apex of time, Adam and Eve did not BELIEVE the word of GOD: the TRUTH (Genesis 2:16-17, 3:2–3) and instead believed the LIES of the devil, aka Satan (Genesis 3:4), that “crooked serpent” (Job 26:10). As a consequence ALL human beings were CONDEMNED TO DEATH. However, God then sent his only begotten Son Jesus, at the right time, in the fullness of time, to bring and to spread the WORD OF LIFE: “[THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE]” (John 3:15).
