Endure
to the END (Matthew 24:7-8).
“The
highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way
preserveth his soul” (Proverbs 16:17).
“This
know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be
lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient
to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false
accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors,
heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form
of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away” (2 Timothy
3:1–5).
Our Lord Jesus
says: “All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up
to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for
my name’s sake” (Matthew 24:8-9).
“And
ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake. But there shall not an hair of
your head perish. In your patience possess ye your souls” (Luke 21:17-19).
“And
ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends;
and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of
all men for my name’s sake. “But there shall not a hair of your head perish. In
your patience possess ye your souls” (Luke 21:16–19).
“And
the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child:
and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put
to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that
endureth to the end shall be saved” (Matthew 10:21-22).
“And
fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but
rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” (Matthew
10:28).
“He
that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world
shall keep it unto life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and
where I am, there shall also my servant be” (Matthew 12:24-26).
“In
the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the
world” (John 16:33).
“The
world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the
works thereof are evil” (John 7:7).
“I
am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen” (Matthew 28:20).
