JESUS is our Shepherd.
“The
LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. Yea, though I walk through the valley of
the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy
staff they comfort me. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days
of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever” (Psalm 23:1, 4,
6).
“Jesus
Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8), says: “The
thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that
they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd
giveth his life for the sheep” (John 10:10-11).
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
“Fear
not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the
kingdom” (Luke 12:32).
“I
am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen” (Matthew 28:20).
