LIVE UNTO JESUS CHRIST = LIVING SACRIFICE.

The Apostle Paul said: “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a [LIVING SACRIFICE], holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:1-2).

There is ONE LIVING GOD. Jesus made reference to this in speaking about the resurrection: “God saying, ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. [GOD IS] not the God of the dead, but [OF THE LIVING]’” (Matthew 22:32).

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10).

Therefore, the Apostle Paul also said: “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.  For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:2–3).

“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you?” (2 Corinthians 13:5).

Now therefore, as the only way to get the things that are eternal is through Jesus Christ who died for us; for this purpose then we must present our bodies a “LIVING SACRIFICE”; and live unto Jesus Christ, and not unto ourselves (2 Corinthians 5:15) because the Apostle Paul well said: “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21).
