S A L V A T I O N.
We
can all live forever: God has given to all human beings the promise of
SALVATION through his only begotten Son.
“TRULY
my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and
my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
My
soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my
rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
In
God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in
God.
Trust
in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge
for us. Selah” (Psalm 62:1-2, 5-8).
“For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not
his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him
might be saved” (John 3:16-18).
“God
is not a man, that he should lie; neither the Son of man, that he should repent”
(Numbers 23:19).
“And
the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every
where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge
the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath
given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead” (Acts
17:30-31).
“That
if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine
heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the
heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made
unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not
be ashamed” (Romans 10:9-11).
“He
that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned
already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of
God” (John 3:18).
“The
LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is
good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that
a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD”
(Lamentation 3:24-26).
