Celebrate CHRISTMAS?
There
continues to be debate, dissension and disagreement about whether Jesus was
born on December 25 and furthermore, many people do not celebrate Christmas.
Every human being has a right to their own beliefs; however, if the celebration of Christmas brings awareness to salvation and draws people to our Lord Jesus Christ, the “…Saviour of the world…” (1 John 4:11-15), so let it be done.

Human
beings must celebrate the birth of Jesus every day for the very reason that God
so loved the world that he give us his only begotten Son (John 3:16). Jesus,
the Christ of God, the salvation of God (Luke 2:30-32) is God’s gift to human
beings.
Therefore,
let us not get carried away with times, seasons or dates because truly the only
gift worthwhile obtaining in our lifetime is the gift of light which is hidden
with Jesus Christ (Colossians 3:3) (1 Corinthians 15:45–46).
