Rejoicing versus grieving:
On the day and night, only God knows (Matthew
24:36) when heaven opens up to reveal a sign of Jesus (Matthew 24:30): “The sun
shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and
the terrible day of the LORD come” (Joel 2:31).
On the day (night) of the coming of our Lord,
Savior and King Jesus the word of God tells us that there will be mourning,
screaming, crying, howling, wailing by countless people.
However, for the called in the Kingdom of God,
this will commence the gathering unto himself.
“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming
of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by [OUR GATHERING TOGETHER UNTO HIM], whereunto
he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus
Christ” (2 Thessalonians 2:1)
Jesus says: “In that day, he which shall be
upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it
away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. Remember
Lot’s wife. Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever
shall lose his life shall preserve it. I tell you, in that night there shall be
two men
“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call” (Joel 2:32).
