The D A Y of J U D G M E N T is the Last Day on this Earth.
REPENT OF SINS! “For if God spared not the
angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains
of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment” (2 Peter 2:4); “Take heed therefore
that the light which is in thee be not darkness” (Luke 11:35).
“Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou
shalt inherit all nations” (Psalm 82:8). “The wicked shall be turned into hell,
and all the nations that forget God” (Psalm 9:17).
“And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is
come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou
shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and
them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which
destroy the earth” (Revelation 11:18).
“And take heed to yourselves, lest at any
time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of
this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come
on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and
pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that
shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man” (Luke 21:34-36).
Jesus explained in his own words the events
that will take place on the Day of Judgment, saying:
“When the Son of man shall come in his glory,
and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his
glory; and before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them
one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats; and he shall
set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King
say unto them on his right hand, ‘Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the
kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world’” (Matthew 25:31–34).
“Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, depart from me, ye cursed,
into everlasting fire, prepared for the Devil and his angels. And these shall
go away into everlasting punishment. And these shall go away into everlasting
punishment: but the righteous into life eternal” (Matthew 25:41, 46).
