C R E A T I O N: G O D or ‘Big bang Theory’?
“IN the beginning God created the heaven and
the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the
face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And
God said, Let there be light: and there was light” (Genesis 1:1-3).
To believe in“The Big Bang theory” is to deny
that God is the Creator.
God created this heaven and earth. The Big
Bang theory is just that, a theory. We must never fall for the lies and
deception which only aim to dilute the power of God. We must endure sound
doctrine; the word of God is pure (Proverbs 30:5).
“By the word of the LORD were the heavens
made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. Let all the earth
fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. For he
spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast” (Psalm 33:1, 8-9).
God created all space and the seven star
systems (Amos 5:8), to name a few, “Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the
chambers of the south” (Job 9:9). We need only look up to stars in the sky at
night and recall what God asked Job: “Canst thou bind the sweet influences of
Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?” (Job 38:31).
“Great is our LORD, and of great power: his
understanding is infinite. He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them
all by their names” (Psalm 147:4–5).
“The heavens declare the glory of God; and
the firmament sheweth his handywork” (Psalms 19:1).
“He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun
knoweth his going down. Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until
the evening. O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them
all: the earth is full of thy riches” (Psalm 104:19, 23-24).
