The LORD God: T R U T H and S P I R I T.
“The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and
in righteousness” (Jeremiah 4:2).
“No man hath seen God at any time; the only
begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him” (John
1:18).
Jesus, the only begotten Son says: “God is a
Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. But
the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father
in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him” (John 4:24,
23).
“But without faith it is impossible to please
him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a
rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (Hebrews 11:6).
“The LORD is good unto them that wait for
him, to the soul that seeketh him. Seek the LORD, and ye shall live. Seek him
that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the
morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the
sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name”
(Amos 5:6, 8).
