Today we give God thanks for creating us (Genesis 1:27). God created the first man and woman; “And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living” (Genesis 3:20).

Let us also be reminded on this day one of the ten commandments God gave to the people of Israel and as a guide to us all was “Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee” (Deuteronomy 5:16).

“Hearken unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old” (Proverbs 23:22).
“Whoso curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness” (Proverbs 20:20).

PERFECT PEACE. Irrespective of what is taking place and will happen in the future in this world we must TRUST IN GOD to keep ourselves in PERFECT PEACE.

Our Lord Jesus says: “LET not your heart be troubled: [YE BELIEVE IN GOD, BELIEVE ALSO IN ME]” (John 14:1). “If a man [LOVES ME, HE WILL KEEP MY WORDS]: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him” (John 14:23). “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have [PEACE]. [IN THE WORLD YE SHALL HAVE TRIBULATION]: but be of [GOOD CHEER]; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). “[PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU, MY PEACE I GIVE UNTO YOU]: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.   GOD is a LIVING GOD: “[FOR HE IS NOT A GOD OF THE DEAD, BUT OF THE LIVING]: for all live unto him” (Luke 20:38). GOD GAVE HUMANS THE BREATH OF LIFE, BUT THEN CAME DEATH. At the apex of time, Adam and Eve did not BELIEVE the word of GOD: the TRUTH (Genesis 2:16-17, 3:2–3) and instead believed the LIES of the devil, aka Satan (Genesis 3:4), that “crooked serpent” (Job 26:10). As a consequence ALL human beings were CONDEMNED TO DEATH. However, God then sent his only begotten Son Jesus, at the right time, in the fullness of time, to bring and to spread the WORD OF LIFE: “[THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE]” (John 3:15).
