L O V E: Love your Neighbour: “Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law” (Romans 13:10).
When a young man wanted to know what he must
do to inherit eternal life, Jesus answered: “If thou wilt enter into life, keep
the commandments” (Matthew 19:17). The young man then wanted to know which
commandments.
“Jesus said, ‘Thou shalt do no murder, Thou
shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false
witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour
as thyself” (Matthew 18-23).
The Apostle Paul further explained, said:
“Owe no man any thing, but to love one
another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery,
Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly
comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Love worketh no ill to his neighbour:
therefore love is the fulfilling of the law” (Romans 13:8-10).
