Temple of GOD?
“Now
the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that
committeth fornication sinneth against his own body” (1 Corinthians 6:13).
“Nevertheless,
to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have
her own husband” (1 Corinthians 7:2). Paul, the apostle also wrote about the
unmarried, widows ans widowers, said: “If they cannot contain, let them marry:
for it is better to marry than to burn” (1 Corinthians 7:8-9).
“Know
ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the [SPIRIT OF GOD] dwelleth in
you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple
of God is holy, which temple ye are” (1 Corinthians 3:16–17).
“Examine
yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your
own selves, how that [JESUS CHRIST IS IN YOU]?” (2 Corinthians 13:5).
“The
Lord knoweth them that are his” (2 Timothy 2:19). “Now if any man has not the [SPIRIT
OF CHRIST], he is none of his” (Romans 8:9).
“Be
not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he
also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption;
but he that soweth to [THE SPIRIT SHALL OF THE SPIRIT REAP LIFE EVERLASTING]”
(Galatians 6:7–8).
