J E S U S is his NAME: The only begotten Son of G O D.
“GOD,
who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers
by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he
hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being
the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding
all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins,
sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high” (Hebrews 1:1-3).
JESUS
“Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God;
but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and
was made in the likeness of men. And being found in fashion as a man, he
humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a [NAME WHICH IS
ABOVE EVERY NAME]. That at the [NAME OF JESUS EVERY KNEE SHOULD BOW], of things
in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every
tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the
Father” (Philippians 2:5–11).
After
Jesus was raised from the dead after his crucifixion, he told his disciples
(John 3:16-18), saying: “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth”
(Matthew 28:18).
“That
the [NAME] of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him,
according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians
1:12).
“For
whosoever shall call upon the [NAME] of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans
10:13).
“And
it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the [NAME] of the LORD
shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as
the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call” (Joel 2:32).
“He
that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the
Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him” (John 3:36).
