R E P E N T and BE SAVED!
“God
is not a man, that he should lie; neither the Son of man, that he should
repent” (Numbers 23:19).
“Is
he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the
Gentiles also:” (Romans 3:29).
“For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not
his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him
might be saved” (John 3:16-17).
“For
as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one
body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all
baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or
free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit” (1 Corinthians
12:12-13).
Now
is the time to repent because we only have this lifetime.
“And
as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews
9:27).
When
human beings die this is not the End:
“For
we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may
receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it
be good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10).
“Jesus
Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8), says: “The
time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe
the gospel” (Mark 1:15).
“Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3). “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me” (John 6:38).
“Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3). “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me” (John 6:38).
How
to repent?
“But
what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that
is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy
mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto
righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans
10:8-10).
“For
I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto
salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek”
(Romans 1:16).
“He
that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the
Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him” (John 3:36).
