GOD is LIGHT.
“This
then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God
is light, and in him is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5).
“Who
is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that
walketh in darkness, and hath no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD,
and stay upon his God” (Isaiah 50:10).
“And
have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove
them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in
secret. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for
whatsoever doth make manifest is light” (Ephesians 5:11–13).
“And
this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved
darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the
light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he
that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that
they are wrought in God” (John 3:19-21).
“Every
good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father
of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” (James
1:17).
“For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not
his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him
might be saved” (John 3:16-17).
Jesus,
the only begotten Son of God says: “I am the light of the world: he that
followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life”
(John 8:12).
“As
long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world” (John 9:5).
“I
am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen” (Matthew 28:20).
