T I M E is coming to an E N D.
“To
every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A
time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up
that which is planted” (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2).
At
the end of the world, on the return of Jesus there will be a harvest of the
earth (Matthew 25:41, 46).
“That
which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God
requireth that which is past; God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for
there is a time there for every purpose and for every work” (Ecclesiastes 3:15,
17).
“And
the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every
where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will [JUDGE
THE WORLD IN RIGHTEOUSNESS] by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath
given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead” (Acts
17:30-31).
Jesus,
the name of the only begotten Son of God, “…that man whom he hath ordained…”
says: “[THE TIME IS FULFILLED], and the Kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye,
and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:15). “I came not to call the righteous, but
sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:32).
“Except
ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3).
“For
I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent
me” (John 6:38).
“The
Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is
longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all
should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).
“I
am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen;
and have the keys of hell and of death” (Revelation 1:18).
“And
he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the
time is at hand. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is
filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous
still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly;
and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be”
(Revelation 22:10-12).
“I
Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I
am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star”
(Revelation 22:16).
“He
which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so,
come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen”
(Revelation 22:20-21).
