A WORLD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS versus this world of unrighteousness.
JESUS
says: “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth
corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal. But [LAY UP FOR YOURSELVES
TREASURES IN HEAVEN], where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where
thieves do not break through nor steal. For where your treasure is, there will
your heart be also” (Matthew 6:19-21).
“For
what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own
soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Mark 8:36-37).
“No
servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the
other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve
God and mammon” (Luke 16:13).
“He
that loveth his life shall lose it; and [HE THAT HATETH HIS LIFE IN THIS WORLD
SHALL KEEP IT UNTO LIFE ETERNAL]. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and
where I am, there shall also my servant be” (Matthew 12:24-26).
“And
I say unto you, make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness;
that, when ye fail, they may receive you into [EVERLASTING HABITATIONS]” (Luke
16:9).
“Verily,
verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall [NEVER SEE DEATH]”
(John 8:51).
“Heaven
and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35).
“Nevertheless
we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, [WHEREIN
DWELLETH RIGHTEOUSNESS]” (2 Peter 3:13).
“In
the way of [RIGHTEOUSNESS] is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no
death” (Proverbs 12:28).
