DAY OF CHRIST is the LAST DAY: DAY OF JUDGMENT.
“The
sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great
and the terrible day of the LORD come” (Joel 2:31)
“And
it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
But it shall be [ONE DAY] which shall be known to the LORD, [NOT DAY, NOR NIGHT]:
but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light; in the
summer and winter it will be” (Zechariah 14: 6–7, 8).
Jesus
says: “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that [WATCHETH], and keepeth
his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame” (Revelation 16:15).
“But
of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my
Father only” (Matthew 24:36).
“[WATCH]
ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all
these things that shall come to pass, and to [STAND] before the Son of man”
(Luke 21:34–36).
“The
LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and
his name one. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the [MOUNT OF OLIVES],
which is before [JERUSALEM] on the east, and the Mount of Olives shall cleave
in the midst thereof toward the [EAST] and toward the [WEST], and there shall
be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the
[NORTH], and half of it toward the [SOUTH]” (Zechariah 14:8–9, 4).
“And
it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall
be delivered: for in mount Zion and [IN JERUSALEM SHALL BE DELIVERANCE], as the
LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call” (Joel 2:32).
“And
he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather
together his elect from the [FOUR WINDS], from one end of heaven to the other”
(Matthew 24:31).
“THEN
COMETH THE END, when he shall have [DELIVERED UP THE KINGDOM TO GOD, EVEN THE
FATHER]; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power” (1
Corinthians 15:24).
“NOW
we beseech you, brethren, by the [COMING OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST], and by our
[GATHERING TOGETHER UNTO HIM], That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be
troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the
[DAY OF CHRIST] is at hand” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-2).
