GLORY and GREATNESS of G O D.
“THE
heavens declare the [GLORY OF GOD]; and the firmament sheweth his handywork”
(Psalm 19:1).
“Behold,
[GOD IS GREAT], and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be
searched out” (Job 36:26).
“Before
the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the
world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God” (Psalm 90:2).
“By
the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the
breath of his mouth” (Psalm 33:6).
“When
I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which
thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of
man, that thou visitest him?” (Psalm 8:3-4).
“‘Behold,
I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?’”
(Jeremiah 32:26-27).
“Know
ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves”
(Psalm 100:3).
“And
the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his
nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” (Genesis 2:7).
“Man
that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble. Seeing his days
are determined: the number of his months are with thee, thou hast appointed his
bounds that he cannot pass” (Job 14:1, 5).
“Then
shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto
God who gave it” (Ecclesiastes 12:7).
“His breath
goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish”

old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of

wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be
changed. [BUT THOU ART THE SAME, AND THY YEARS SHALL HAVE NO END]” (Psalm
102:25-27).
“Great is our
LORD, and of great power: his understanding is infinite. There is no searching
of his understanding” (Psalm 147:4) (Isaiah 40:28).
“God is the
LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the
horns of the altar. Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I
will exalt thee. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy
endureth for ever” (Psalm 118:27-29).
