A NARROW WAY to ETERNAL LIFE.
Jesus
says: “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the
kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven”
(Matthew 7:21).
“I
am the light of the world: [HE THAT FOLLOWETH ME SHALL NOT WALK IN DARKNESS,
BUT SHALL HAVE THE LIGHT OF LIFE]” (John 8:12).
“Enter
ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that
leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat; because strait
is the gate, and [NARROW IS THE WAY], which [LEADETH UNTO LIFE], and few there
be that find it” (Matthew 7:13–14).
The
Apostle Paul said: “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in
Christ Jesus, [WHO WALK NOT AFTER THE FLESH, BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT]” (Romans
8:1).
“Now
the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication,
uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance,
emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness,
revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told
you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the Kingdom
of God” (Galatians 5:19–21).
“But
the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness,
goodness, faith” (Galatians 5:22).
“Therefore,
brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye
live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the
deeds of the body, ye shall live” (Romans 8:12-13).
