“IT
is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy
name, O most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy
faithfulness every night” (Psalm 92:1-2).
“My
voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my
prayer unto thee, and will look up. For thou art not a God that hath pleasure
in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. The foolish shall not stand
in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity. For thou, LORD, wilt bless
the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield” (Psalm 5:3-5,
12).
“The
LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous”
(Proverbs 15:29).
