KINGDOM OF GOD or Wealth and Riches of the world?
“The
words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem. Vanity of vanities,
saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity” (Ecclesiastes 1:1-2).
Jesus,
the only begotten Son of God expressed about wealth and riches when he drew an
example using King Solomon, saying:
“Which
of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye
thought for raiment? [CONSIDER THE LILIES OF THE FIELD, HOW THEY GROW; THEY
TOIL NOT, NEITHER DO THEY SPIN]: And yet I say unto you, That even [SOLOMON IN
ALL HIS GLORY WAS NOT ARRAYED LIKE ONE OF THESE]” (Matthew 6:27-29).
“Take
therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the
things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. But [SEEK YE
FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD, AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS]; and all these things shall be
added unto you” (Matthew 6:34, 33).
“For
what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own
soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Mark 8:36-37).
DO
NOT SELL YOUR SOUL TO THE DEVIL!
The
word of God says: “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so
also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezekiel
18:4).
“The
soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezekiel 18:20).
