G L O R Y or Gold?
All
the silver and gold on this earth cannot acquire SALVATION!
“Forasmuch
as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and
gold, but with the precious [BLOOD OF CHRIST], as of a lamb without blemish and
without spot” (1 Peter 18–19).
“God
hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God”
(Psalm 62:11).
“For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not
his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him
might be saved” (John 3:16-17).
“For
thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen” (Matthew
6:13).
“For
I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared
with the [GLORY] which shall be revealed in us” (Romans 8:18).
“Therefore
we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we
are absent from the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:6–7).
The Apostle Paul also reminds us when he said
to: “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves.
Know ye not your own selves, how that [JESUS CHRIST IS IN YOU]?” (2 Corinthians
13:5).
“Herein
is our [LOVE MADE PERFECT], that we may have boldness in the [DAY OF JUDGMENT]:
because as he is, so are we in this world.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because
fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. We love him,
because he first loved us” (1 John 4:17-19).
“NOW
we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our
gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be
troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that [THE
DAY OF CHRIST IS AT HAND].
But
we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord,
because [GOD HATH FROM THE BEGINNING CHOSEN YOU TO
SALVATION] through
sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
Whereunto
he called you by our gospel, [TO THE OBTAINING OF THE GLORY OF OUR LORD JESUS
CHRIST].
Therefore,
brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught,
whether by word, or our epistle” (2 Thessalonians 2:1-2, 14-15).
