he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall
not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end” (Daniel 6:26).
“He
hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom,
and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion. When he uttereth his
voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the
vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain,
and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures” (Jeremiah 10:12-13).
“Thus
shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth,
even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens” (Jeremiah
10:11).

‘Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?’
And
they said, ‘Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others,
Jeremias, or one of the prophets.’
He
saith unto them, ‘But whom say ye that I am?’
And
Simon Peter answered and said, ‘Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living
God.’
And
Jesus answered and said unto him, ‘Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh
and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven’”

heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in
departing from the living God. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold
