Time is tickin away
Time as we read this word is
ticking away; literally ticking away. As a movie clicking away at the last
frames which will soon end, or as water pouring out of a glass which will
become empty, so too one day time will run out and this earth will pass away (1
Peter 21:33) (Mark 13:31) (2 Peter 3:10).
There is no stopping time, changing
time, or reversing time because at the set time, habitation on this earth will
end (Revelation 11:18). Since God has appointed the time of habitation of this
earth and that of every life on this earth, we would be best to seek to obtain
that which God has hidden for us before the beginning of time. This is the most
important decision of our life, which we need to be on time for in our
lifetime, because one day time will come to a full end (Revelation 10:5-6).
“Behold, the Lord maketh the earth
empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad
the inhabitants thereof” (Isaiah 24:1). “And the seventh angel poured out his
vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven,
from the throne, saying, ‘It is done.’” (Revelation 16:17–18, 20–21).
