“Enter ye in at the strait gate:..."
“The
way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath”
(Proverbs 15:24).
“Hell
and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied”
(Proverbs 27:20).
“Let
thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to
the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil” (Proverbs 4:25-27).
Jesus
says: “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the
way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat;
because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and
few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:13–14).
