My Light and Salvation
“The LORD is my light and my
salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom
shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1).
“(For we walk by faith, not by
sight)” (2 Corinthians 5:7): knowing that we are followers of Jesus who “is the
image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature, the Son of God,
the faithful and true witness of God and that the trial of our faith, being
much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire,
might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus
Christ. Whom having not seen, we love; in whom, though we now see him not, yet
believing, we rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. Receiving the end
of our faith, even the salvation of our souls” (1 Peter 1:7–9).
