A time of giving

This Christmas let us support the weak, “…and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive’” (Acts 20:35).

“Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble” (Psalm 41:1).

Jesus is not coming to reign on this earth because at the end of the Day of Judgment, this earth will become uninhabitable (Isaiah 24:19) (Revelation 16:17–18). This heaven and earth is not a space of everlasting habitations.   This heaven and earth will pass away (Jeremiah 4:23) (Revelation 21:1). God “hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation” (Acts 17:26). Jesus is very clear when he says: “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35). “The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption” (1 Corinthians 15:50). “Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you” (Romans 8:9-11). The Apostle Paul further described the events for those who are “…Christ’s at his coming…” (1 Corinthians 15:23) when the seventh angel sounds on the LAST DAY (Revelation 11:15), said: “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the [LAST] trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
