Give a lasting gift

This holiday season give the gift of the word of God: the truth because Jesus said: “It is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God” (Luke 4:4).

Especially in this present time, we are to be watchful in all things to keep at the forefront of our daily lives the love of the word of God (Luke 4:4) and not the love of this world.

This heaven and earth will pass away!

Jesus is not coming to reign on this earth because at the end of the Day of Judgment, this earth will become uninhabitable (Isaiah 24:19) (Revelation 16:17–18). This heaven and earth is not a space of everlasting habitations.   This heaven and earth will pass away (Jeremiah 4:23) (Revelation 21:1). God “hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation” (Acts 17:26). Jesus is very clear when he says: “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35). “The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. PERFECT PEACE. Irrespective of what is taking place and will happen in the future in this world we must TRUST IN GOD to keep ourselves in PERFECT PEACE.

“Thou wilt keep him in [PERFECT PEACE, WHOSE MIND IS STAYED ON THEE]: because he [TRUSTETH] in thee” (Isaiah 26:3). Our Lord Jesus says: “LET not your heart be troubled: [YE BELIEVE IN GOD, BELIEVE ALSO IN ME]” (John 14:1). “If a man [LOVES ME, HE WILL KEEP MY WORDS]: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him” (John 14:23). “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have [PEACE].
