“For surely there is an end” (Proverbs 23:18).
There
will be numerous reactions from people looking at this photograph.
Unfortunately, many people refuse to believe that this will ever happen and are
too busy to take the time to read this word of God.
Thousands
of years ago, the people in Sodom and Gomorrah also were busy as usual when the
day started. Jesus explained, how “…they did eat, they drank, they bought, they
sold, they planted, they builded; but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom,
it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. [EVEN THUS
SHALL IT BE IN THE DAY WHEN THE SON OF MAN IS REVEALED]” (Luke 17:29-30).
“For
the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and
unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18).
“And
with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they
received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this
cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that
they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in
unrighteousness” (2 Thessalonians 2:10–12).
“Watch
ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all
these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man” (Luke
21:34–36).
