Remember Adam and Eve? (Genesis 1:1 – 3:24). God did NOT give them money, riches and wealth, and worldly possessions which is the standard norm in this world! CHOOSE you this day whom you will SERVE: God or the prince of this world? (Joshua 24:15-16).

When God created the first male and female, God give them dominion over the fish of the sea, the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth. God also commanded them to be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth (Genesis 1:26-28).

“LOVE NOT THE WORLD, NEITHER THE THINGS THAT ARE IN THE WORLD” (1 John 2:15). “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God” (1 Corinthians 3:19).

“And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that [DOETH THE WILL OF GOD ABIDETH FOREVER]” (1 John 2:17).

God is EVERLATING and is before ALL THINGS including this world!

“Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God” (Psalm 90:2).

God created this heaven and earth.

“For all the earth is mine” (Exodus 19:5). 

“The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein” (Psalms 95:5, 24:1).

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth” (Genesis 1:27-28).

Why anyone would choose to spend a lifetime accumulating money is beyond any logic or commonsense!

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, [CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY WHOM YE WILL SERVE]; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: [BUT AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE] the LORD. And the people answered and said, [GOD FORBID THAT WE SHOULD FORSAKE] the LORD, to serve other gods” (Joshua 24:15-16).

Jesus says: “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Mark 8:36-37).

“No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon” (Luke 16:13).

“Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed” (John 6:26-27).

To serve God is to seek to inherit everlasting life.

To serve money is to seve the prince of this world, the devil, aka Satan who will along with his fallen angels, and all who serve them will be cast into the lake of fire on the Last Day.

“And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal” (Mathew 25:46).

“Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death” (Proverbs 11:4).

“They that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honor” (Proverbs 21:21).

“Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life” (1 Timothy 6:19).

“Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the LORD” (Psalm 106:48).
