Who is going to Heaven?

Image
Jesus says: “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21). “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat; because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:13–14). “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting” (Galatians 6:7–8).

To reject Jesus Christ is to reject eternal life

Image
To reject Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God is to reject eternal life (John 3:16-18). It is unimaginalble and incomprehensible why anyone would reject eternal life. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23). Jesus says: “The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:15). “I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:32). “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me” (John 6:38). “Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3). “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God” (Psalm 9:17). “Upon the wicked [God] shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and a horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup” (Psalm 11:6). “The soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezekiel 18:20).

Doctrine of Christ

Image
“Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son” (2 John 1:9).

There is one God, and one mediator between God and men

Image
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18). “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus: who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time” (1 Timothy 2:5–6).

The coming Day of the Lord

Image
Jesus says: “Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not” (Luke 12:40) “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen” (Revelation 1:7).

The Day of the Lord

Image
Jesus says: “For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:27). “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame” (Revelation 16:15).

Live by Faith

Image
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18). The Holy Scriptures says: “Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draws back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul” (Hebrews 10:38–39).

“For surely there is an end” (Proverbs 23:18).

Image
There will be numerous reactions from people looking at this photograph. Unfortunately, many people refuse to believe that this will ever happen and are too busy to take the time to read this word of God. Thousands of years ago, the people in Sodom and Gomorrah also were busy as usual when the day started. Jesus explained, how “…they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; but the same day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. [EVEN THUS SHALL IT BE IN THE DAY WHEN THE SON OF MAN IS REVEALED]” (Luke 17:29-30). “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18). “And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie

The End

Image
“The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly” (Isaiah 24:19). “The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up” (2 Peter 3:10). “Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness” (2 Peter 3:13). “For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind” (Isaiah 65:17).

Endure to the End

Image
Every day we are to live in faith enduring to the end knowing that “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18). “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him” (Isaiah 64:4). Jesus’ disciple Peter encourages us saying: “Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless” (2 Peter 3:14).

Redemption is at the End

Image
On the Last Day, the Day of Judgment, the end of the world: “Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven” (Psalm 85:11). “Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power” (1 Corinthians 15:24).

“Enter ye in at the strait gate:..."

Image
“The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath” (Proverbs 15:24). “Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied” (Proverbs 27:20). “Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil” (Proverbs 4:25-27). Jesus says: “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat; because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:13–14).

Endure to the End

Image
However, difficult, desperate or disparaging events become in this world, we must keep faithful to the end. Jesus says:   “And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved” (Matthew 10:21-22). “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels, and I will give him the morning star” (Revelation 3:5, 2:28).

How can anyone not trust God?

Image
Afterall God made us, we did not make ourselves (Genesis 1:26-27)! God says: “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezekiel 18:4). “Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the LORD God: and not that he should return from his ways, and live? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the LORD God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye” (Ezekiel 18:23, 32). Jesus said: “The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:15). “Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3). “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation” (Romans 13:1–2).

"Behold, I am the LORD.."

Image
“Thus saith the LORD; ‘Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD’” (Jeremiah 17:5). “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27). “As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all” (Ecclesiastes 11:5). “Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding” (Isaiah 40:28).

Trust in the LORD

Image
“Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God” (Isaiah 50:10). “They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; none of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him” (Psalm 49:6–7). “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.   In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Quikening Spirit

Image
Jesus says: “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” (John 11:25-27). “Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you” (Romans 8:5-11).

Jesus is the only way to become Immortal

Image
We must remind ourselves daily that we are mortal; and that to become immortal only JESUS can give us the light of life. Jesus says: “For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; and hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man” (John 5: 26–27). “For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life” (John 5:21-24). “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).

Serve God

Image
To serve money is only for a lifetime but, to serve God is FOREVER. Jesus, the only begotten Son of God says: “No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon” (Luke 16:13). Today, the many distractions in this world, from sending e-mails, texting, watching live media, surfing the internet, and so on, keep people from taking the time to get to know the word of God. By the word of God, we have been warned that the time will come when many will not endure sound doctrine and will turn away their ears from the truth, which will be turned into fables (2 Timothy 4:3–4). Especially in this present time, we are to be watchful in all things to keep at the forefront of our daily lives the love of the word of God and not the love of this world (Luke 4:4).

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18). JESUS, the only begotten Son of God says: “‘He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness’” (John 12:44–46). “He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the Last Day” (John 12:48).

JESUS:“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:"

Image
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever” (Isaiah 9:6–7).

Christ is Born

Merry Christmas

JESUS, Bethlehem, Manger

Image
On the night that JESUS was born, in reading the events that unfold unlike the fanfare of this world, we get a glimpse of the power and glory, yet lowliness and humbleness of God, the most High, as it is written:   “And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away fro

"Where is he that is born King of the Jews?"

Image
When Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judæa in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, ‘Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him” (Matthew 2:1-2). “When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh” (Matthew 2:10-11).

JESUS is the Salvation of God

Image
Believe in JESUS   because God sent his Son to this earth for the glory of his people Israel and a light for the Gentiles (Luke 2:32). “Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth” (1 John 5:5–6).

King Jesus

Image
Let us never forget that God sent his Son to this earth for the glory of his people Israel and a light for the Gentiles (Luke 2:32). Hence, it was written when Jesus was born that he is the King of the Jews (Matthew 2:1-2). Therefore, let us ALL be humble and give God thanks and praise always for given us [Gentiles] the opportunity to inherit light in the Kingdom of his dear Son in the next world without an end in New Heavens and a New Earth (Isaiah 45:17. 65.17) (Ephesians 3:21).

Bethlehem

Image
Jesus is of the house and lineage of David, a Beth-lehemite; hence the city of David is called Bethlehem (Luke 2:1-4) (1 Samuel 16:1). “And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel” (Matthew 2:6). “Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?” (John 7:42).

His name is JESUS: The only Savior

Image
Whether we celebrate or not Christmas is our decision. However, this decision does not change the miraculous fact that the Virgin Mary give birth to the only begotten son of the most Highest: JESUS (Luke 1:27-31). “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins” (Matthew 1:18-21).

Christmas?

Image
No human being on this earth is in any position to judge another. Whether we celebrate or not Christmas is our decision. However, this decision does not change the miraculous fact that the Virgin Mary give birth to the only begotten son of the most Highest: JESUS (Luke 1:27-31). Let us all be reminded that Jesus Christ says: “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again” (Matthew 7:1-2).

Jesus is the reason for the season!

Image
Jesus Christ is the only reason for the Christmas season (Isaiah 9:6-7) (Matthew 1:18-21)!

Reason for the season?

Image

Why was Jesus sen to this earth?

Image
The birth of Jesus Christ was as foretold by the holy prophets for God to show the power of salvation for his people in the house of his servant David and to the Gentiles (Isaiah 9:6-7). “To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins. Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace” (Luke 1:77-79).

A time of giving

Image
This Christmas let us support the weak, “…and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive’” (Acts 20:35). “Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble” (Psalm 41:1).

Give a lasting gift

Image
This holiday season give the gift of the word of God: the truth because Jesus said: “It is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God” (Luke 4:4). Especially in this present time, we are to be watchful in all things to keep at the forefront of our daily lives the love of the word of God (Luke 4:4) and not the love of this world.

Good gift

Image
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” (James 1:17). “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us” (Matthew 1:23).

New Heavens and a New Earth

Image
“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18). “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him” (Isaiah 64:4). In the Book of Revelation John revealed, saying: “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God” (Revelation 21:1-3) “Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall

Be wise and believe the truth

Image
Why anyone would refuse to believe the truth is incomprehensible. “He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36). Many people fail to realize that this heaven and earth will pass away, but there will be New Heavens and a New Earth. Jesus, the only begotten Son of God says: “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35).

Good is Good

Image
When Jesus was asked: “Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?” (Matthew 19:16); he answered: “Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments” (Matthew 19:17). The young man then asked, “Which?” (Matthew 19:18). “Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” (Matthew 19:18-19).

Live forever

Image
“In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death” (Proverbs 12:28). Jesus says: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death (John 8:51).

Time is running out.

Image
Thousands of years ago, Jesus walked this earth with the message that “The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:15). Many among us, while instant messaging every day, ignore this important message, that time is coming to an end. “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near” (Isaiah 55:6). “Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read” (Isaiah 34:16).

It’s all about Jerusalem!

Image
Jerusalem: It’s all about Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Jerusalem! The coming capital of the New World Order, aka Seventh World Kingdom. “And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast” (Revelation 17:9-13). “And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth” (Revelation 17:18).

Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Jerusalem: keep eyes on Jerusalem.

Image
Jesus says: “When ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judæa flee to the mountains” (Mark 13:14). “And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh” (Luke 21:20). The Apsotle Paul, said:“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God” (2 Thessalonians 2:3–4). In John’s vison, he wrote saying: “AND there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not;

There is one God, and one mediator between God and men

Image
“God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;   And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation” (Acts 17:24-26). “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent. Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead” (Acts 17:30-31). “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus: who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time” (1 Timothy 2:5–6).

“I belong to Jesus”.

Image
“For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favor of the LORD. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death” (Proverbs 8:35-36). The only entrance door to the Promised Life is through Jesus Christ; there is no other door; there is no other Savior (John 3:16-18). Any other door will lead to an ultimate dead end. “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man” (Luke 21:34–36).

The Last Day on earth

Image
How we spend the time our lifetime will determine where we end up on the Last Day. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10). Jesus explains says: “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory; and before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats; and he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, ‘Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world’” (Matthew 25:31–34). “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the Devil and his angels. And these shall go away into everla

Spirit or flesh?

Image
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit” (Romans 8:1). “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25). Jesus says: “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23–24).

Lay up treasures in Heaven

Image
Jesus says: “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal. But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Matthew 6:19-21). “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23).

Heart of the matter and Heart’s desire:

Image
How often have we heard the expression the “heart of the matter” or “heart’s desire"? Actually, taking everything into consideration on this earth, the heart is the center of everything. The heart is the crucial organ for the physical body to live. So too, what is in our heart is most crucial for our soul to live. What we eat or put into our body will affect the health of our heart; so too what is in our heart or proceeds out of our heart is a direct result of the way we live spiritually. “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9). A healthy heart is the key to a healthy physical life. A pure heart is the key to a pure spiritual life. Keep our heart healthy and pure, and we will obtain the promise of life. God knows all our hearts and has declared through Jeremiah: “I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings” (Jerem
