Jesus is my shepherd!

Image
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8), says: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one” (John 10:27-30). “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32).

Do you believe in Jesus Christ?

Image
Job asked: “If a man die, shall he live again?” (Job 14:14). Apostle Paul said: “For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:3). The disciple John said: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, “the Christ of God” (Luke 9:20) says: “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day” (John 6:44). “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live; and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” (John 11:25-27). “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” (Revelation 1:18).

" I Love Jesus"

Image
“Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, ‘Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?’ Jesus answered and said unto him, ‘If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid’” (John 14:22-27).

"I Love God"

Image
“If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, that he who loveth God love his brother also” (1 John 5:20-21).

Before it is too late: REPENT!

Image
We must all take a moment to consider the sure mercies of God to human beings: God sent his only begotten Son to this earth in the form of flesh (John 1:1-12), and he was put to death without cause! (Hebrews 3:15). “For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:7-8). “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18). “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:15). “…except ye

Heaven and earth will pass away!

Many of us listen to the radio or watch television to see the weather forecast before we leave the house in the morning; this helps us to prepare for the weather ahead. If it is forecasted to rain, we take an umbrella; if extreme cold is predicted, we dress warmly; and so on. We believe the weather forecaster on the radio or television, even though it is just a prediction. Based on that forecast, we prepare for the weather of the day. As we believe the weather forecasted for the day to prepare for ahead for our safety and well-being, shouldn’t we be prepared for the Last Day as foretold by the word of God? “For, behold, the day cometh that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch” (Malachi 4:1). “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great

Knowledge of the Truth

Image
“Do not judge a book by its cover” is a is well known slogan: “Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read” (Isaiah 34:16). “The LORD gave the word: great was the company of those that published it” (Psalm 68:11). “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost” (2 Peter 1:19–21). “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). “Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it” (Proverbs 8:10–11). Jesus says: “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35). “Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven” (Psalm 119:89).

End of years:

Image
The events that will soon become public will be clear and apparent signs to usher in a one world religion and for the eventual rise to power of the antichrist over the seventh and last world kingdom. The prophet Daniel foretold of the events in the end of days in Jerusalem when there shall rise to power the seventh world king, saying: “Thus shall he do in the most strongholds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain” (Daniel 11:39). Jesus and the Apostle Paul warned us not to be fooled in the coming end of years by false powers, signs, and lying wonders (Matthew 24:24) (2 Thessalonians 2:9). Specifically, in the last years of time, there will be a penultimate ruler of the one world government, in the spirit of the wicked one, “the God of forces, a strange god whom his fathers knew not shall he honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things” (Da

Sign of things to come:

Image
We are not to become enthralled, entangled, and engrossed with the things of this world such as the recent blockbuster movie because it is a prelude of “art imitating life” of similar things to come. The day is coming when the prophet Daniel foretold said: “And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people” (Daniel 8:23–24). “And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand” (Daniel 8:25). Jesus says: “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch

Word of God

Image
“Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read” (Isaiah 34:16). Throughout a lifetime, humans will have read, spoken, seen, heard or touched innumerable words. However, we must believe the word of God to live forever. “Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God” (Psalm 90:2). “Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth forever” (Psalm 119:160).   “For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth. By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth” (Psalm 33:4, 6). “The LORD gave the word: great was the company of those that published it” (Psalm 68:11). “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him” (Proverbs 30:5). “Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded” (Pro

Gospel of peace

Image
We must be reminded daily how the Apostle Paul well expressed to have “… your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;…” (Ephesians 6:13-17) “…because the days are evil…” (Ephesians 5:15-20). “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;   And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Ephesians 6:13-17).

Live or second death?

Image
Jesus foretold of his coming said: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live” (John 5:25). Now, therefore, “as the only way to get the things that are eternal is through Jesus Christ who died for us; for this purpose then we should live unto him and not unto ourselves” (2 Corinthians 5:15). Therefore, “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?” (2 Corinthians 13:5). “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love” (Ephesians 3:17). “For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ: (1 Thessalonians 5:9).

Immortality: quickening spirit

Image
Every human being must consider, seriously consider that we are just “clay” formed from this earth. “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” (Genesis 2:7). We only have a “breath of life”; we do not have life: “For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:3). “For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive” (1 Corinthians 15:21–22). “The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. And so it is written, the first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit” (1 Corinthians 15:47–49, 45). O

Humbleness and lowliness:

Image
In a world of fame and fortune, we must pray for humbleness and lowliness, and follow in the footsteps of our Lord, Savior and King Jesus, “Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:6-11).

Heaven or lake of fire

WORD OF TRUTH: There are many doctrines and beliefs that after we die we either go forever to hell to be tormented or to heaven to serve God. This is not supported by the word of God because there will be first a Day of Judgment. The word of God is very clear when it says: “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). In John’s vision of the end of time, the Day of Judgment, revealed the angel of God he wrote: “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man

Kingdom of Heaven

Image
“The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all” (Psalm 103:19). Jesus says: “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32). “Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh” (James 5:7–8).

The word of God:

Image
“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. Be ye glad and rejoice forever in that which I create” (Isaiah 65:17-18). Jesus says: “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:2-3). “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal. But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Matthew 6:19-21).

A world without end in New Heavens and a New Earth

Image
Do not be misled by doctrines that Jesus is coming to establish his kingdom on this earth. This world and this earth has an end (Matthew 24:1-3) (Revelation 11:18). There is New Heavens and a New Earth in the heavens with another world which will be forever (Isaiah 65:17-18) (2 Peter 3:13) (Revelation 21:1-2). Before Jesus left this earth he told his disciples, saying: “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:2-3). “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds” (Hebrews 1:1–2). “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O

Do not use astrology:

Image
“What is my horoscope?” is a question that is often asked by many to provide an indication of events to unfold in their lives daily, weekly, monthly and so on. We must not use such methodologies as astrology to tell us of our lifetime; just as God instructed the people of Israel not to observe time (Deuteronomy 18:10–12). We must have faith and trust in God. Jesus says: “Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?” (Matthew 6:28-31). “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:34, 33).

Eternal Life:

Image
“In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death” (Proverbs 12:28). “They that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honor” (Proverbs 21:21). “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever” (Daniel 12:3). “Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life” (1 Timothy 6:19).

Repent

Image
“BLESSED is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him” (Psalm 32:1-2, 5-6). “Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’s anger” (Zephaniah 2:3). “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;” (Romans 1:18). “Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and a horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their

SALVATION

Image
In the tribulations of this life, we do not have be afraid, because Jesus is here to save us; and “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed” (Romans 10:9–11). Jesus says: “Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels” (Mark 8:38).

Follow after Righteousness

Image
In the coming last years of time, the prophet Daniel says: “Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand” (Daniel 12:10). “They that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honor” (Proverbs 21:21). “And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever” (Daniel 12:3).

Believe the word of God

Image
Believe, believe and believe becaue life on this earth is only for a time (Acts 17:26). Every human being alive in this world, and to be born in this world before it ends would be wise to believe these words of God: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18). “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him” (John 3:36).

Do you believe God?

Image
“For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness” (Romans 4:3). “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth” (Romans 10:4). “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:17-18). “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith” (Romans 1:16-17). “For the wrath of God is revealed

Follow Jesus

Image
Keep following Jesus to the end because he says: “No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the Kingdom of God” (Luke 9:62). “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, ‘If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me’” (Matthew 16:24). “And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me” (Matthew 10:38).

Day of our Lord:

Image
We must consider that out of the population of the old world only eight (8) people were saved; and only three (3) out of the population of Sodom and Gomorrah. Jesus warns that his coming is going to be just as in the days of Noah and Lot when people of those generations believed that nothing was going happen but, it did (Matthew 24:37) (Luke 17:27–29). We know that the coming of our Lord, Savior and King will catch most people by surprise because Jesus says: “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame” (Revelation 16:15). The Book of Revelation says: “And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; [AND SHOULDEST DESTROY THEM WHICH DESTROY THE EARTH]” (Revelation 11:18). “And the kings of the earth, and

The Last Day will be Judgment Day:

Image
Since the beginning of time when God put the first man, Adam and woman, eve on this earth (Genesis 1:26-28), there is now approximately over seven (7) billion people on this earth. Notwithstanding the enormity of the population growth since the time Noah and his family replenished the earth to this day, at the end of time on the Last Day, the Day of Judgment there will be a division into two categoiies of people: 1) Good seed (Righteous) and 2) Evil seed (Wicked). Jesus explains: “He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them

Whatever seeds are sown in a lifetime will determine the fruit harvested on the Last Day!

Image
The seeds that are sown - good or evil - in this lifetime will result in what is harvested on the Last Day! “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting” (Galatians 6:7-8). “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God” (Galatians 5:19-21). “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the

Issues of life - plant good seeds:

Image
Everyday we must have a keen awareness and consciousness in our heart of the seeds we are sowing - good or evil because the word of God says: “I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings” (Jeremiah 17:10). “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23). “In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death” (Proverbs 12:28).

Redemption:

Image
Jesus expressed to not “Let the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word and it becometh unfruitful” (Mark 4:19). “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you” (1 Peter 5:6–7). “For God will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God” (Job 34:23). “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together

God has no respect of persons.

Image
It doesn’t matter what our status is in this world: race, religion or riches   (or lack of); it doesn’t matter, period.   We should call on the Father, who without respect of persons judges according to everyone’s work; we should pass our time sojourning here in fear (1 Peter 1:17). Furthermore: “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:5–11). “Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons” (Colossians 3:24-25). The Apostle Paul also added, said: “To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; but unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unright

Just begin to imagine - the Kingdom of Heaven

Image
For those of us who are parents, we do our utmost for our children. Well then, if we know to do this, we can only begin to imagine what God, the Father has for his Children (Matthew 5:8-9, 6:9-13)! “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him” (Isaiah 64:4). The righteous will flourish as the palm tree (Psalm 92:12). When time ends, “Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven” (Psalm 85:11). Our Lord, Savior and King, Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God says: “Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets” (Luke 6:23). “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32).

Righteousness

Image
“The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness” (Jeremiah 4:2). To come to the knowledge of and obedience to the word of God is not about religion, race, or riches; it is about righteousness—the righteousness of God built on the foundation of Jesus Christ. “For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright” (Psalm 11:7). “Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy” (1 Peter 4:13, 16). “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).

"Bread of Life"

Image
The word of God is so perfect that we must stand in awe when we read it! To live forever humans must eat the “bread of life” (John 6:48). Jesus says: “I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world” (John 6:51). “Forever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven” (Psalm 119:89). “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they

The word of God is Spirit and Life

Image
When Jesus says: “It is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God” (Luke 4:4); we must ponder for a moment why we must believe every word of God becase the word of God is “Spirit and Life”. Jesus says: “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63). “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one” (John 10:27-30). “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him” (John 4:23).
