Wormwood:

This photograph may trigger numerous reactions: ignored, shrugged off or believed by few people. But, make no mistake by the word of God it is going to happen!

“And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter” (Revelation 8:7-11).

For those who continue to ignore these warnings the prophet Jeremiah said: “O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters” (Jeremiah 17:13).

Although this heaven and earth will become dissolved, desolate and dilapidated as other planets in our Solar System (Isaiah 24:19), the word of God tells us that Jesus, our Lord and Savior will lead all those who are redeemed from this earth to new fountains of living waters in new heavens and a new earth (2 Peter 3:13).

“For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes” (Revelation 7:17).

“Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;” (2 Peter 3:14-15).
