“The first man is of the
earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such
are they also that are earthy: and as is the [HEAVENLY], such are they also
that are [HEAVENLY]. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall
also bear the [IMAGE OF THE HEAVENLY]. And so it is written, the first man Adam
was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit” (1
Corinthians 15:47–49, 45).
“For the LORD hath chosen
Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation. This is my rest for ever: here
will I dwell; for I have desired it” (Psalms 132:13-14). “For with thee is the
fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light” (Psalm 36:9).
“But ye are come unto mount
Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the [HEAVENLY JERUSALEM], and to an
innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the
firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the
spirits of just men made perfect, and to Jesus the mediator of the new
covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that
of Abel” (Hebrews 12:22–24).
Be wise and follow Jesus
Christ because there is a place of rest forever in the heavens (Revelation
21:1-4).
