World Peace or End of the World?

In recent years the word ‘World’ has become a byword used in such phrases as ‘World Government’, New World Order’, ‘World Peace’ and  so on. However, those who believe that one day there will be a new age of peace, prosperity and perpetuity on this earth, are being cleverly blind sided with deception and lies by the prince of this world.


We are not to be deceived by doctrines spreading fables, fairytales, and fantasies of a millennium or a new age of world peace to come on this earth because the devil knows he has a “…short time…” (Revelation 12:12); and he is using every possible means to deceive the whole world (Revelation 13:14) into thinking that one day there is going to have peace here on earth. 

Paul was very emphatic when he said: “For when they shall say, peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape” (1 Thessalonians 5:3).

“Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly” (Isaiah 33:7).


Once again, let us take heed of the words by Peter, a disciple of Jesus who said: “The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up” (2 Peter 3:10).

Let us be spiritually prepared every day for the Last Day when this earth perishes at the end of time, and be comforted to know that “The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy” (Psalm 145:20).

  GOD is a LIVING GOD: “[FOR HE IS NOT A GOD OF THE DEAD, BUT OF THE LIVING]: for all live unto him” (Luke 20:38). GOD GAVE HUMANS THE BREATH OF LIFE, BUT THEN CAME DEATH. At the apex of time, Adam and Eve did not BELIEVE the word of GOD: the TRUTH (Genesis 2:16-17, 3:2–3) and instead believed the LIES of the devil, aka Satan (Genesis 3:4), that “crooked serpent” (Job 26:10). As a consequence ALL human beings were CONDEMNED TO DEATH. However, God then sent his only begotten Son Jesus, at the right time, in the fullness of time, to bring and to spread the WORD OF LIFE: “[THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE]” (John 3:15). Give God the FATHER THANKS for ALL THINGS and for giving his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON (John 3:16-18).

If we know to say “Thank you” to another human being when an act of kindness is done for us, then we MUST GIVE THANKS TO GOD because he CREATED ALL THINGS (Genesis 1:1). “For all the earth is mine” (Exodus 19:5).
