TIME of the END.
When
will we know that we are in the last years of time on this earth?
“Then
I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of
the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
And
one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river,
‘How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?’
And
I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when
he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that
liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he
shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these
things shall be finished” (Daniel 12L5-7).
“And
I heard, but I understood not: then said I, ‘O my Lord, what shall be the end
of these things?’” (Daniel 12:8).
“And
he said unto me, ‘Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the
sanctuary be cleansed. And the vision of the evening and the morning which was
told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many
days’” (Daniel 8:13-14, 26).
“And
he said, ‘Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the
time of the end.’ But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and
stand in thy lot at the end of the days” (Daniel 12:6-11, 13).
In
Daniel’s vision, the two thousand three hundred days are literal days, since
the angel confirmed that it will be indeed for evening and morning. When God
created this heaven and earth, “God called the light Day, and the darkness he
called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day” (Genesis
1:5). Therefore, the vision of the end of time is for many years, within an
approximate window of time of just over six years and three months. This period
will begin when the penultimate ruler who reigns over the countries on this
earth establishes his throne in the holy mountains to head the one world
government in the last years of time (Daniel 9:16).
“And
he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious
holy mountain” (Daniel 11:45).
When
he saw the visions of the last days of the end of time of this earth, Daniel
also heard and could not understand:
“And
from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the Abomination
that maketh Desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety
days” (Daniel 12:11).
Jesus
provided us with more clarification for when those alive witness the
“abomination of desolation” (Mark 13:14) stand in the holy city to better
understand by further stating, “And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with
armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh” (Luke 21:20).
The
key sign for the last years of time is to look for the future event when all
armies on this earth begin to advance, surrounding Jerusalem for war. When this
happens, then with guaranteed certainty this will be the final countdown to the
end of time.
