The
most powerful man is not on this earth. He is in Heaven. His name is JESUS!
“Jesus
Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8), “who, being
in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God; but made
himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made
in the likeness of men. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled
himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore
God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every
name. That at the [NAME OF JESUS] every knee should bow, of things in heaven,
and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should
confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians
2:5–11).
After
Jesus was raised from the dead after his crucifixion, he told his disciples,
saying: “[ALL POWER IS GIVEN UNTO ME IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH]” (Matthew 28:18).
“He
that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the
Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him” (John 3:36).
“I
am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen;
and have the keys of hell and of death” (Revelation 1:18).
