The Secret to coming through in a Lifetime.
“The
secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his
covenant” (Psalm 25:14).
“Let
us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: [FEAR GOD, AND KEEP HIS
COMMANDMENTS: FOR THIS IS THE WHOLE DUTY OF MAN]. For God shall bring every
work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it
be evil” (Ecclesiastes 12:13–14).
What
does it mean to “Fear God or the LORD”?
“The
fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and
the froward mouth, do I hate” (Proverbs 7:13).
“The
fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is
understanding” (Proverbs 9:10).
“The
fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he
shall not be visited with evil” (Proverbs 19:23).
“The
fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death”
(Proverbs 14:27).
“It
is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God” (Hebrews 11:31).
“The
words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem. All things have I
seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth in his
righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth his life in his
wickedness.
Be
not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou
destroy thyself? Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why
shouldest thou die before thy time?
It
is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not
thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all” (Ecclesiastes
1:1, 7:15-18).
