GOD is the F A T H E R. JESUS is the only begotten S O N, the LAMB.
The Holy
Scriptures tells us that “No man hath seen [GOD AT ANY TIME; THE ONLY BEGOTTEN
SON], which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him” (John 1:18).
“Being
made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more
excellent name than they. For unto which of the angels said he at any time,
‘[THOU ART MY SON, THIS DAY HAVE I BEGOTTEN THEE]’? And again, [I WILL BE TO
HIM A FATHER, AND HE SHALL BE TO ME A SON]?” (Hebews 1:4-5).
“But
unto the Son he saith, ‘Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever: a scepter of
righteousness is the scepter of thy kingdom’” (Hebrews 1:8).
Now,
the fact that the Father says to his Son, “…Thy throne, O God…” Paul further
explains that Jesus “who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to
be [EQUAL WITH GOD]; but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the
form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men. And being found in
fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the
death of the cross. [WHEREFORE GOD ALSO HATH HIGHLY EXALTED HIM, and GIVEN HIM
A NAME WHICH IS ABOVE EVERY NAME]. That at the [NAME OF JESUS] every knee
should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the
earth; [AND THAT EVERY TONGUE SHOULD CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD, TO THE
GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER]” (Philippians 2:5–11).
“Whosoever
denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father” (1 John 2:23).
“Whosoever
shall confess that [JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD, GOD DWELLETH IN HIM, AND HE IN
GOD]” (1 John 4:15).
Jesus
says: “Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath
seen the Father. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath
everlasting life. I am that bread of life” (John 6:46-48).
“For
there is [ONE GOD], and [ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MEN, THE MAN CHRIST
JESUS]: who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time” (1
Timothy 2:5–6).
“I
am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”
(John 14:6).
In
John’s vision by the angel of God he wrote: “And he shewed me a pure river of
water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the [THRONE OF GOD AND OF
THE LAMB]. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth,
neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: [BUT THEY WHICH ARE
WRITTEN IN THE LAMB’S BOOK OF LIFE]” (Revelation 22:1, 21:27).
