Wrath of God
Jesus warned that his coming is going to be
just as in the time of Noah who lived in the old world before the great flood, and
in the time of Lot who lived in Sodom and Gomorrah, when fire and brimstone fell
from heaven respectively, as Jesus says: “ destroyed them all” (Luke 17:27-29).
Jesus also warned of his coming when he said: “Behold,
I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest
he walk naked, and they see his shame” (Revelation 16:15).
Unfortunately, untold numbers of people are still
ignoring that the coming of this day, and Jesus says: “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no,
not the angels of heaven, but my Father only” (Matthew 24:36).
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven
against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in
unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18).
“And with all deceivableness of
unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the
truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong
delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who
believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thessalonians
2:10–12).
