Help the poor
Fashion hits and misses, awesome moments, sweetist
photographs and so on on the red carpet of another awards show.
“When I was a child, I spake as a child, I
understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put
away childish things” (1 Corinthian 13:11).
Words cannot begin to describe such childishness
or silliness, because there is so much suffering, starvation and sorrow by
countless people in this world where over one billion people live on the edge
of poverty.
“Charge
them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in
uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to
enjoy; that they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute,
willing to communicate; laying up in store for themselves a good foundation
against the time to come” (1 Timothy 6:17–19).
“For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favor of the LORD. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul; all they that hate me love death” (Proverbs 8:35–36).
“The
wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God” (Psalm
9:17). “For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favor of the LORD. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul; all they that hate me love death” (Proverbs 8:35–36).
