We must CONFESS and BELIEVE in JESUS CHRIST to be BORN OF THE HOLY SPIRIT to obtain SALVATION (Matthew 3:1-2, 11) (Luke 17:21) (John 14:23) (Acts 1:4-5) (Romans 10:8-10).

Sometime ago this comment was posted as follows: “We must be fully immersed in water in "JESUS NAME" to be born of the Spirit”

This comment is NOT TRUTH and will NOT get you SALVATION!

The word of God IS OF NO PRIVATE INTERPRETATION because it is written: “For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little” (Isaiah 28:10). 

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Nicodemus saith unto him, ‘How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?’

Jesus answered, ‘Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be [BORN OF WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT], he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and [THAT WHICH IS BORN OF THE SPIRIT IS SPIRIT].

Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is [BORN OF THE SPIRIT]” (John 3:3-8).

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, [THE SPIRIT, AND THE WATER, AND THE BLOOD]: and [THESE THREE AGREE IN ONE]” (1 John 5:7–8).

When Jesus was crucified along with two thieves, it was customary after a crucifixion to break the legs; however, “when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs; but, one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out [BLOOD AND WATER]” (John 19:33–34).

“And [HE THAT SAW IT BARE RECORD AND HIS RECORD IS TRUE]: and he knoweth that he saith true, [THAT YE MIGHT BELIEVE]” (John 19:35).

This record of blood and water which came out of the pierced side of Jesus most significant spoken of by John when he asked:

“Who is he that [OVERCOMETH THE WORLD], but he that [BELIEVETH THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD]? [THIS IS HE THAT CAME BY WATER AND BLOOD, EVEN JESUS CHRIST]; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is [THE SPIRIT THAT BEARETH WITNESS, BECAUSE THE SPIRIT IS TRUTH]” (1 John 5:5–6).

“[WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH THAT JESUS IS THE CHRIST IS BORN OF GOD]: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen” (1 John 5:1, 21).
