Our Lord JESUS CHRIST is our LIGHT and SALVATION.

“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1).

“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that [GOD IS LIGHT], and in him is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5).

“[EVERY GOOD GIFT AND EVERY PERFECT GIFT IS FROM ABOVE], and cometh down from the [FATHER OF LIGHTS], with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” (James 1:17).

“[FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON], that [WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD] not perish, but [HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE]. [FOR GOD SENT NOT HIS SON INTO THE WORLD] to condemn the world; but [THAT THE WORLD THROUGH HIM MIGHT BE SAVED]” (John 3:16-18).

“[AND THIS IS THE CONDEMNATION], that [LIGHT] is come into the world, [AND MEN LOVED DARKNESS RATHER THAN LIGHT], because their deeds were evil.  [FOR EVERY ONE THAT DOETH EVIL HATETH THE LIGHT, NEITHER COMETH TO THE LIGHT], lest his deeds should be reproved. [BUT HE THAT DOETH TRUTH COMETH TO THE LIGHT], that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God” (John 3:19-21).

Our Lord JESUS also says: “[YE ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD]. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. [LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE BEFORE MEN, THAT THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD WORKS, AND GLORIFY YOUR FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN]” (Matthew 5:14-16).

“As long as I am in the world, [I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD]” (John 9:5).

“Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32).

“I am with you alway, even unto the [END OF THE WORLD]. Amen” (Matthew 28:20).
